- Other than this, well it's all becoming rather academic as Wales moves towards being no more than a WEST BRITAIN in reality and the Welsh and Migrants be they new comer Muslims or 'Assylum Seekers' are all in a great 'Acculturalisation/Anglicisation' Mix to become 'West Britons'. Other than this fact which perhaps unfortunatly History and Geography conspires against. The continued existence of a Wales as a seperate Country, let alone an Independent Nation, free and Sovereign is not on the cards is it! Then I got to face facts that on my Fathers side our family is a bit of a 'Mixed Breed'; English and Irish but Identity wise the family became solidly Welsh, a 'Keep A Welcome' and Rugby Welsh but not 'English' and I guess only British during WW I and II. - There are two main issues here, the matter of Multi - Culturalism and how it has failed to serve Cameron/Tory ideas on British National Identity. No doubt the Welsh Politically and Cultural Correct who foster and promote 'MC' will disagree full stop but then they are not being altruistic, particularly the 'Cymry Cymreag Cultural Correct'. That is 'Y Crachach Newydd' Cultural 'Language' Nationalist establishment who seek to win over ethnic minority interests to their cause and campaigns will agree to Wales being Multi - Cultural this also makes them look good with the 'Usual Suspect Poltically Correct'.
- For this reason in Plant Crachach circles use of the word 'Mewnlifiad' has become a big no! very much a subject to be avoided and not discussed at all cost. They also fail to take into the Multi - Cultural equation, the largest minority interest in Wales, the English be they old or new settlers Economic or Social Colonists or otherwise? Plaid Cymru the same, not least the Lord Protector Dafydd Ellis Thomas who has long been a great supporters and advancer of Multi -Culturalism and Liberal 'Civic Nationalism.

- Of course what these Cultural Nationalists also fail to take aboard is the future cost of Multi - Culturalism in terms of Education, not least translators and translations in education, health and local government in a poverty stricken Cymru/Wales. Just how will this square with the advancing needs and requirements of Cymraeg Education in particular, then what about minority interest TV prgramming competing with Cymraeg. For example how does Multi - Culturalism regards minority interests where they prefer having education in their own languages or if they want to opt out and have their own Faith Schools, such could include Protestant, Catholic or Muslim Faith Schools who just might require funding from the Welsh Assembly but not then be obliged to teach Cymraeg or indeed Welsh History.

Only last year in a Caernarfon Pub I heard two locals, a young girl and boy speaking and swaping between both 'Cymraeg' and 'English' almost every other few minutes of conversation and did so with great ease. Obviously used to doing so with friends who spoke either language, another irony in the same pub there were two east European Barmaids who had not been taught one word of 'Cymraeg', I taught them Nos Da! before I left. As for travelling bar workers lets give them a break as most are young people travelling the world and have no need to be learning dozens of Languages. When I worked in catering in London for some years, I met loads of such travellers from all over the world from Finland to France to where ever and they all spoke pretty good English, thankfully!

If the Christian Crusaders and Mongol Invasions had not messed them up, they would not have become prey to Western Imperialism and Capitalism. Their day as come only a matter of time, may not be such a bad thing, think about it? Maybe 'Caliphate Cymru' is the direction Plant Crachach should be think towards as in historical terms it's been Religion not TV pr pubs that saved and sustained Cymraeg down through the centuries.
