WELSH REPUBLICANISM Past & Present but as it a FUTURE? Maybe we shall see on 27 April 2010?

..
...Will a Welsh Republican Flag be raised in Caernarfon, Bangor, Llandudno in protest against the visit of Elizabeth II to Northern Wales?
.
.
However, the question begs to be asked, is there a ''Welsh Republican'' Present, let alone a Future? Plenty of refs to''Welsh Republicanism'' on the web but most of it that seeks to present and pass itself off as ''Welsh Republicanism'' is influenced by the 1916 Irish Rebellion and of the ''sixties'' 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol' in Wales. Such ''Welsh Republicanism'' is on the whole more a 'militant nationalism', and has little Welsh Historical interest as example in Iolo Morgannwg & Morgan John Rhys et al. Nor is it greatly influnced by Welsh Republican Movement I of Cliff Bere & Company.
.
See as example Balchder Cymru and their associations with Rali Cilmeri (Welsh Royalist Influence), Rali Abergele (Adfywiad'69 Militant Nationalism) and Rali Frongoch (Irish Republican Influence 2010), not least then their Dewi Day Parading (Cambrianista - 'Knights of St David' Nationalism). On the whole Balchder Cymru I consider an excellent organisation as a Cymric Conscious Campaigning 'movement' in tradition of Mudiad Cofiwn though BC are more politically radical. Essentially, I consider them more similar to the American Indian Movement and the Mexican - American 'Barrio Warrors'. Sorry! but I cannot take their ''Republicanism'' seriously, be it Welsh or otherwise and, must take their representation of ''Republicanism'' with a 'pinch of salt'. All the same more power to their elbows, not least if they come up to the mark on 27/28 April 2010 in Patriotic Protest against visit of English Queen to the North but, it seems as most Nationalists, let alone so called ''Welsh Republicans'' they are at this time very muted, mild and meek on this matter. Strange! as what should be of major concern to all patriots who annually remember annually a long dead Welsh Prince of Gwynedd at the Cilmeri Cenotaph whilst the remnants of WRM II piss it up in Tafarn Llywelyn.
.
What do you think?
.
Discuss & Debate to Educate! but then Agitate & Organise for Welsh Republican Protests against visits of representaives of the English Monarchy when ever they are in Wales, starting in the North next week? See links below >
