WHITE CROSS OF WELSH RESISTANCE
Most Commonly though of as just the FWA 'Iconic' Badge but in fact it has generally also been used as an acceptable symbol of 'Welsh Resistance'. design attributed to Patriotic Bard Harri Web, I adopted it myself as a Symbol of Welsh Resistance, below is poster my brother and I screen printed in the 'Sixties' and stuck up around and about. I have never been keen on Patriots wearing this Cross as a badge or in T - Shirt form, for two reasons in main, it kind of robs the 'Cross' of it's 'underground' secret Welsh Resistance mystique use also it would act as a 'marker' to identify militant radical Nationalists. For these reasons I have been none too happy of it being adopted by Balchder Cymru but also because their lack of action of even a campaigning patriotic protest kind, makes me and others think they hardly deserve a claim on this symbol, what is after all a 'Symbol of Resistance'. Up to now Balchder Cymru has not shown that it qualifies as a 'Welsh Resistance', not in meaning of the FWA/MAC/MG, not even as the Patriotic Front whom with only 80 members and only after a few years of existence were on the Patriotic Frontline of action against the Investiture:

Whatever, the fact that BC has adopted this 'iconic symbol' is now fact and they have also made sure that it will be ever identified with them as much as the FWA, well that's fine as long as they sooner rather than later deliver some substance rather than just non stop showtime parading about, banging their own drum and 'Gung Ho' films on Yourtube. Not just stand on the 'Shoulders of Giants' as Cayo and Coslett FWA Commandants, they appear to myself and others who are not taken in by much BC does that they some how are using a strategy where they make themselves look 'Brave' if they stand in the glow of real 'Freedom Fighters' and 'Adfywiad Gwladgarol Activists' of the past.

I am sure that 'Balchderiaid' could and will this year in the struggle to save 'Stryveland', March into the Mountains and occupy the Crown Estate Wind farms as well as really become a Welsh Resistance Against Renewables Robber Barons in the land of the Four Battles in Canol Cymru, we shall see? If they could deliver here, I would not constantly critcise BC as the last thing I want is for them to decline and demise as a 'Joke' which the FWA did become, not least post '69 with Denis Coslett handing out medals at Ralli Cilmeri Commemoration to 'Good Ole Boys' many of whom most certainly did not deserve them. Robert ap Steffan filmed much of this during the 'Cyfamodwyr Years' and having been shown this video, I can only say for most part it is an awful embarrazzing comedy which who ever has a copy now is not in a rush to put up on Yourtube.
