.Less than a month after 'Adam's Abergele' and his attempt to legitimise his brand of Retro Republianism, learnt at the knee no doubt of Denis Coslett, former FWA Commandant, patriot and poet. Although at Abergele had bussed in a load of 57 verities of 'Celtic Republicanism', that speaks much as to what level of political idea there is there with A&P. Basically no more than what many of the 'Patriotic Fringe' use as a label to kind of position themselves as at best 'Radical Nationalists', their ''Republicanism'' goes as far back as having learnt about the Irish Easter Rising 1916 much promoted as the basis for the 'Retro Republicanism' of the former FWA Commandants Cayo and Coslet. Although given his working class background Denis Coslett was certainly more politically aware and to the left a little, if only he had got a 'Politcal Act' together, then I guess post '69 Denis could have made more positive Patriotic contribution to 'Alternative Nationalism'.

But no! at best post '69 he could not leave go of his 'Sixties', he was very much a 'Victim of the Sixties; he did became a good patriotic poet but then continued a 'Paradory of Patriotism' annually handing out medals at Rali Cilmeri and 'repeating his speech' from the dock at conclusion of the FWA Trial in July 1969. The laugh of that was Cosletts theatrical gesture had a prologue, shotly before he had signed the infamous, to me anyway the 'Swansea Court House Surrender' along with his Commandant in Chief Julian 'Cayo' Evans. I did not but unfortunatly my PF compatriot Toni Lewis did, I cannot remember who amongst the others did, I think it was a case sadly of 'one and all'. As for Cayo's ''Republicanism'' basically a mixture of 'Spanish Fascism' and 'Polish Nationalism' overlayed with a dash of 'Irish Republicanism' of the 'Remember 1916' kind! However, a good and considerate patriot to his 'Comrades in Arms'. I want hear any critcism of he nor now Coslett who I came to know and respect much post'69. Unless the criticism is from me an 'Old Comrade' up to a point, keeping in mind the PF quit supporting the FWA, for reasons made public then and now in my AWNM&S Archive blog, see further down in this post.

Whatever, great patriots all the same but unfortunatly in main of the 'Knee Jerking Super Patriot' School, niether they two or their, 40 odd years later 'followers of fashion' attempting to stand rather wobbly on the 'Shoulders of their Giants' have the slightest clue about any form of real 'Republicanism', I doubt if they have ever even read Cliff Bere's book 'Young Republicans', if they had they would learn that Cliff's first Welsh Republican Movement was based on forging itself as a Radical Republican Movement Against English Imperialism, not least against the English Crown and it's claim to having Sovereignty over Wales.

It was largelly due a response to 'Adam's Abergele' that I set up the RAM - REPUBLICANS AGAINST MONARCHY blog, for those of serious Welsh Republican Intent but also speciffically with purpose to reeducate the patriotically confused and politically challenged 'Retro Republicans'. Further, the RAM five year Welsh Republican Programme of Patriotic Action Against the English Monarchy in Wales, is both a challenge to the 'Retros' and the moderate 'Guardianesque' School's Welsh Republican Followers amongst the 'Chattering Classes'. To go out there and get into some serious real Welsh Republican Action over the coming five years. However, I particularly challenge the 'Retros' c'mon guys and gals, lets see what you are really about, up to? Lets see if you got what it takes? Got the makings? Time to put up or shut up and you are on warning! I am going to make it my business to keep an eye on you all out there in your Patriotic Fringe, get out now before it becomes a 'Lunitic Fringe' as it will if you become a follower of 'MOZ' and his 'Cream Cracker' CYMRU 1400.

I hope Sinn Fein and other serious Irish Republican Organisations become aware of what I am saying, I will make sure they do! Has it would be absolutly grotesque to see this 'Bunch of Boyos' representing any real Welsh Republicanism 'officially' in your 1916 - 2016 Commemorations. Before inviting these 'Gowboys', stand back and watch and remember their proof will be in their 'Retro' or 'real radical' Welsh Republican Pudding! .I too often forget the good Welsh Republican effort of Neil ap Siencyn and Gareth ap Sion, I have offered space in this blog for Gareth to write up a contribution on all this, but no sign of him doing so. A great shame as his and Neil's Republican Movement and Republican paper are going to be lost to history if they do not record it now. As for the Welsh Socialist Republican Movement, another worthy Welsh Republican Effort and fortunatly their history has been recorded.
