I spied the plaque dedication and read it with despair:
Sitting down, what I think was a feeling they call an 'epiphany' came over me or was it just despair that this little village in a 'Cymric Heartland' surrounded by an history of great Welsh Heroes and Hymn Writters in 1969 should choose to commemorate the Investiture of an English Prince of Wales. Worse that plaque welcoming that Investiture is still there, some 40 plus years later? To get as far as Pontrobert I had travelled for three days around the North and had another two days to go through Central Cymru.

Pityful to say the least, as for my 'epiphany', quite simply the realisation that we as Welsh Nationalists/Republicans are fighting a lost cause, so why bother? Yes! indeed and at my age it's time to just give up the patriotic ghost and possibly advise others not least young patriots pack it in, get a life don't become Camp Followers of Pointless Patriotism or worse of a rather now Pathetic Patriotic Fringe that disregards any serious patriotic reality or worse trusts to Plaid Cymru. Unfortunatly MAC III does not look to be a go but to my mind that is what be really needed, otherwise what more talking shops and 'Taff Foolery'. Maybe others have better ideas but to my mind what is possibly better other than, either of the following two suggested Initiatives:
