If you do not believe or know by now that 'Yr Hen Iaith' and a rural way of life is faced by the greatest of threats, of which not even the most radical of rural 'Language Activists' care to speak about. Not even Cymuned, Llais Gwynedd nor the language plus mewnlifiad 'Agony Aunt of Abergynolwyn' . Of course te 'Official Cultural Nationalist Party' aka Plaid Cymru shuts up toatally and as long as their 'silent supporters' of 'Y Crachach Newydd' are well taken care of socially and economically then that's ok! Meanwhile 'Yr Hen Iaith' dies away 'Yn Y Fro Cymraeg' overwealmed by a great 'White Flight' out of England that will only increase hugely over the coming years, aggrevated greatly by the oncoming 'Years of the Locust' for rural Wales's and it's native population, see link:

Note in a fourth coming post to The Welsh Patriot I will be posting up an alternative 'Cunedda Strategy' to the below which propably will appeal more to Radical Nationalists but this will, on my part be more of an exercise in patriotic self indulgence in 'over kill' perhaps or, realistically more embracing of 'Welsh Cultural Nationalism'. Myself, I prefer L.L&L as it is, an extention of my favoured of radical nationalist campaigning. So lets get on with 'Language, Land and Liberty Struggle', although keep in mind that my 'Land & Liberty Campaign' is not as concerned about contemporary matters of 'Y Hen Iaith' and 'Y Fro Cymraeg'. But of in rural Cymru/Pura Wallia aka 'Tiroedd Cunedda' the decline of the native language and way of life and of the native rural population - Ethnically Cleansed by means of aggrevated and prompted depopulation, does deserve asome pressing priority. Of course anyone who knows a little more than most about medieval Welsh History will be aware of the concept of the 'Welshry' and 'Englishry', of how large areas of Bro Morgannwg, Gower and Penfro were Ethnically Cleansed of the native population by force. Moratorium, I shall deal with this further in a future post. At moment I am concerned with the fact that radical rural patriotism aka 'Cultural Nationalism' as exemplified by Cymuned has it seems become a 'dead duck' in the water without any real idea as how to radically move forward fast. As for Llais Gwynedd, sadly this is Cultural Nationalism in Gwynedd being on the whole a 'Movement for the Defence of Gwynedd' with policies that are hardly of much long term use, being they are so limited and made basically politically impotent by virtue of fact they need to make wide appeal evento the 'Colonisers'.
That must be really hard for many of their hard core radical fundmentalist originators and leadership. On the whole radical rural language struggle and Campaign activism in past contemporary times has been a product of a non producing economically non self supporting rural Bourgeouise in particular culturally lead by Preachers and Poets et al.
Such, if the British Empire had not collapsed would have possibly continued to provide their English Imperialists Masters with Teachers and Missionaries but that was not to be the case. Thus to survive many of this class have moved to Urban Wales aka Caerdydd (Pontcanna Patagonia in particular) become 'Y Crachachac Newydd' aka 'England's Client Tribe in Wales'.
However, there is a base of rural non - bougeoiuse language supporters, for the most part of farming roots and small village petite bougeoiuse as shop keepers and of the rural 'proffessional classes' who loyally remain behind as matter of patriotic principle. Thse are the pobl Cefn Gwlad and in many ways they as a 'class' remind me of Boer Settlers of South Africa, it is not suprising that rural 19th century Welsh Liberalism was sympathetic to the Boers in the two South African Wars against English Imperalism and the economic rule of the 'Uitlanders'.

But enough of all that information lets get down to the reality and needs of today to establish a dynamic and Popular Radical Rural Struggle' in defence of the greater rural west behind the Cambrian Mountains. 1567: THE CAERWYS EISTEDDFOD.
...
The two eisteddfodau at Caerwys, a little town in Flintshire, in 1525 and 1567 marked changes in the craft of Welsh poetry. Though the bards were called together to "bring order and government to the craftsmen in poetic art," the meetings were probably royal attempts to curb the anti-royalist sentiments of the nationalistic poets. The 1567 eisteddfod also marked the end of the Bardic Order as the humanist influences now sweeping in from Europe necessitated changes in Welsh prosody including the replacement of the old bardic system of twenty-four strict metres by that of free metres. The poetic art was thus made more accessible to the ever-increasing amateur poets of the gentry.

Bringing it up to our present day August Bank Holiday, best day for L.L&L Rally being for Saturday 28 Awst, indeed why not a complete Bank Holiday weekend 'Camp Cymry' for Language, Land & Liberty in Ceredigion where at moment there is more concern to defend Badgers from being 'culled' than a large number of native people being Socially & Econpically being Ethnically Cleansed by means of DEPOULATION.

They will be discussing the varying attitudes towards supporting the English national football team (or their opponents!) during the World Cup, and the general ways in which our relationship with our nearest neighbours has developed over the years.

Or/and, Osian Jones, I know he's a member of CyIG but he can always wise up and become our 'Zapata' maybe? On the other hand why don't Cymuned get real and realise the reality and ditch being a latter day version of a rural CyIG. Thence embark on a new really radical L,L&L Struggle out West with lots of dynamic campaigning beginning with a 'Campaign Camp' on Mynydd Bach over the August Bank Holiday. Go on go for it!, you should realise it's the 'rural' right thing to do and, also because if you don't then you are fooloing yourselves. Failiure to act and you better believe this, I will forcast Cymuned will die a not so slow death as an irrelevency who failed as did Adfer. That time and history passed by, so It's up to you? THINKS NOW! What is really for the best?
Much on these lines will be posted to The Welsh Patriot along with an appeal to pobl Ceredigion to at long last rise up a memorial to the Defenders of Mynydd Bach from by the 'Little Englishman'. Not least consider Dafydd Ifan y Gof and Jac Gof Yr Esgair as 'National Heroes' deserving of statues. I shall campaign for this myself.
