Over the last few years, actually the matter never goes away, the calls for a ''New Nationalist Party'' or ''New Movement'' has continued but since Leanne Wood got herself placed at head of Plaid Cymru, the Party has been running away from it's past and our past, I mean our history. Plaid has now become Plaid 'green' Cymru and as embraced it's own brand of Cultural Nationalist Rainbow Republicanism'. However, this has not stopped Leanne from flirting with fringe politics, very much her thing with the 'English Left' in England and in Wales attempting similar has recently got her in an whole lot of trouble.
What I find amazing to this is the response of certain Plaid Friendly Nationalists with cries of blaming the Western Mail reporter for being up to 'Dirty Tricks', trying to hurt Plaid Cymru and cause division in nationalist ranks. What 'Dick Heads'. The reporter was doing his job, I have reported on this 'Nash Nonsense' and 'CBR 'Day Dreaming' a number of times as such are matters in the public domain and are of concern to a wider nationalist audience not least if one is critical as to issues as the failings and faults of Plaid style Nationalism and so called 'Welsh Republicanisms' and not least regards Y Crachach Newydd - 'England's Client Tribe in Wales. There is one of Merthyr Plaid also a member (or was until recently?) of Balchder Cymru and a full on 'Crachlet Camp Follower', one Edwyn ap Harri Rhondda born and bred but no Cadwgan of the Battle Axe he, more a 'Blackberry Boy'. Of course as the majoriy of Plaid Cymru members are Cultural Nationalists, well at least those with Rural Roots or are 'Hwntw' Renegades as Edwyn ap Harri, a Crachach Camp Follower. Both the above declare they are Right Wing Radical Nationalists, to my mind it is not difficult to see that they both share common ground on most matters and issues and I would be very surprised to find out there has been no cooperation . As for Welsh Republicanism poured straight, then I think the uselessness of CBRD more than likely has put paid to any fast track movement forward in that direction towards a WRM III, game over it seems possibly finished off by Leanne Wood and Plaid 'green' Cymru Rainbow Republicanism' and as well CBR 'Day Dreaming' indecision.
