QUEENS VISIT TO NORTH WALES 27 - 28 APRIL 2010: Nationalists Throw In The Towel but where were the other Welsh Patriots & Republicans?

Apart from a small Anti - Royal Visit Poster Campaign in Caernarfon days before the visit of Liz II to the town, there were no other protests whatsoever for the whole two days she spent in North Wales. This tells us much, for starters Welsh 'Language' aka 'Cultural Nationalism' does not have the same really radical political nationalist nature of Quebec, Flemish, Basque or Corsican Nationalism. This is due to a number of historical reasons, not least the historical fact that the 'Welsh Language' has never been a main motivating factor in keeping Welsh Nationalism alive. That is since time of Owain Glyndwr up to the 19th century 'Liberal Cultural Nationalism' found it to be useful, as the 'Language of God' but not so much as far as 'Welsh Liberal Capitalism' was concerned the language of business and making money - getting 'super rich' as Welsh Victorian Coal Owners for instance.

There is an hypocracy within Victorian language 'cultural nationalism', in so far that it 'bitches' about the' Blue Books' but hardly mentions the 'Southwark School' to train the Cymry to run the 'Welsh Victorian Capitalist' machinary of the Industrial Revolution via the English Language stating ''That if you want bread work 'yn Cymraeg' but if you want it buttered, you better learn English fast!''. ''The same hypocracy exists to this day, where you have the 'Language Movers & Shakers' demanding that much of Welsh Language affairs are a matter for the Welsh Assembly Government (I wonder why!) but not 'Shamless S4C' and the reason for that it is not only based on not trusting 'Hwntws' but is completly not in the spirit of Devolution or Democracy either.

'Language Cultural Nationalism' did not really become fully neo Politically Nationalistic untill the rise of Plaid Cymru and the 1936 Bombing School incident of 1936. This was when 'Cultural Nationalist' became more militant politicaly. Of course WW II intervened and such did not arise again until the matter of 'Cofia Tryweryn' in the 'Sixties' at the same time this is associated with the post WW II 'baby boom' generation of Welsh Speaking students, mainly later attending the Universities of Aberystwyth and later Bangor which for a while became a centre of 'Adfer-ism'. This in main led to the creation of a 'Petite Bourgeouise' former student 'language movement', that became 'Cymdeithas yr Iaith Cymraeg' which has much in common with the rise of Feminism, Black Civil Rights and Gay Rights also in the ''Sixties'' in America and later in England and Europe. All in all some 45 years on these ''Students'' have become a 'Crachach Newydd' (see French Nouveau Rice), which may also be viewed as England's Client Tribe in Wales in a Neo - Colonial Wales.

Sustaining this ''Client Tribe'' is a 'Welsh Language Industry' largelly based on various 'Welsh Language' grant funded bodies and societies etc, massively funded by various English Government departments and now the Welsh Assembly. Suffice to say, I mention this now to draw attention to fact that's why 'Cultural Nationalism' failed to meet the challenge of the English Queen's visit to it's heartland of Gwynedd. Yes! the movers & shakers, the leaders of a largely rural rooted but increasingly urban based petite bourgeois' in their Caerdydd 'Pontcanna Patagonia' or satelite sub colonies in Bae Caerdydd and Bontfaen/Gowbridge. They are just too stuffed with ''Saxon Silver'' to move radically other than chase grants. Historically what was a 'Bunch of Bard' who had lost patrons and privellege post Glyndwr's 'failed state', in Tudor Wales is really now a rather non producing 'Surplus Cultural Crachach' dependant on Anglo - Welsh and English hand outs, so much so, that they dare not be seen politically protesting, biting the hand that feeds them, certainly not against the English Protestant Monarchy. This has been the case since the Tudor Protestant Reformation to rise of 19th century largelly rural Liberalism, an understanding of this will be further seen and understood with a study of the Cambrian Combine Strike of 1910 - 1911, also regards the Llanelli Riots of 1911, see by blog RED REMEMBRANCER >

Whatever, it was not only 'Cultural Nationalism' that failed oh the 28 - 04 - 2010 but also Welsh Political Nationalism,

I am not talking about PLAID Cymru here. Although, despite many

of their leading 'left' lights being Anti - Monarchist 'Guardianesque Brit Republicans' they are

hardly radical about it! At same time the question begs to be asked just where were the

'Retro Rpublicans' as represnted by such as the 'Young Republicans' and the B.C. 'Barrio

Warriors' or in deed ''Old Republicans' of WRM II and 'left' WSRM? The Republicanism I give a

lot of time to in this blog can be excused as it is just a very small nuclues of recent developers of

a New Inter - Nationational Welsh Radical Republicanism and hardly ready to take aboard Anti - Monarchist

Protests. However, as for the 'Patriotic Fringe' of an 'Alternative Nationalism' as represented

by aforementioned and a plethfora of self styled patriotic 'Face Book Fusiliers' and YT representations

glorifying in main the FWA, MAC and Meibion Glyndwr, all of which now, I am more than

ever convinced are MI5 'Sting Sites'. Whatever, where were all such in readiness to protest and demonstrate?, not least the 'Cambrianistas' who have taken it upon themselves to lead passivelly with petitions against another Investiture of an Englishman as Prince of Wales. Bit of a bloody joke me thinks!!!

All in all, the failiure of Welsh Patriotism to protest be it Cultural, Nationalists, Alternatives or Republicans

to rise to challenge of 27 & 28 April against visit of English Royals to Caernarfon, Bangor, Llandudno and Welshpool does not look good for the future of struggle for Independence in Wales, if Welsh Patriots cannot make a stand for Welsh Sovereignty, then to be truthful we must take aboard a dawning truth that in reality this could be the 'END GAME' for any serious Welsh Nationalist Movement and Struggle. I suspect this present BGE 2010 will put the 'boot in' due to it's over focus on England and 'English Political Questions' in the 'Great TV Debates'. The failiure of Plaid Cymru has been the failiure not to force thru a specific 'Welsh Political Agenda' indeed they have been pretty pathetic, more concened with 'political correctness', playing safe and being oh so 'moderate'. But moaning constantly about not being involved in those 'Great TV Debates'.

Plaid Cymru has been shunted into the shadows where really they deserve to be, for them this BGE 2010 could be 'Game Over', what then a referendum on more powers for the Welsh Assembly aka 'Sham Senedd', indeed? I suggest they and other 'Devolutionists' get their 'Act Together' very quick post BGE 2010 and for starters rally for our SOVEREIGHTY in Machynlleth on and about 21 Mehefin, this year not next ok! Whilst Radical Republicans get read to celebrate 'Bastille Day' on 14 July and as for you Posuer and Paraders of the 'Patriotic Fringe' why not march on Caernarfon Castle's gate on or about 1st July 2010 to seek some redemption? As for 'Y Cilmeriaid', not least ''GOBs'' forget Rali Cilmeri this year and instead why not crawl on your knees to 'Prysgduon' to beg forgiveness from 'Ysbryd Llywelyn' for your failliure to 'Cofia 1282' on the 28 April 2010.

As for Cultural 'Language' Nationalism, indeed all representatives of the activist language 'groupings' as CyIG and 'Cymuned', their failiure to rise up some real specific 'Welsh Issues' during this BGE 2010. Forcing forward to advance a 'Welsh Political Agenda ' re matters as the language, rural depopulation plus the ill effect of the 'European Empire' on jobs in Wales. In England the

big issue has been immigration of 'Assylum Seekers' and 'East Europeans', I have absolutly

no problem with either especially 'Assylum Seekers'. However, East Eurpoeans who are

trafficking drugs, white slaving girls into prostitution and running benifit frauds and other

scams is another matter! So what of Wales and 'White Flight' immigration aka 'Mewnlifiad' out of

England into Wales seeking safe 'Saislebensraum'.

Such is now at a far greater level than existed

previously thus in past resulting in Meibion Glyndwr's 'ARSON WAR' and, yet it is not an issue now and

certainly not being made an issue. Why is that? I suspect 'Language Activists' are fearful and frightened of being labelled 'Nazi Welsh BNP types' as the Daily Mirror labelled Simon Brooks, Simon Glyn and others, not least the 'Agony Aunt' Swansea's Roy Jones of Abergynolwyn who had an obsession about 'White Settlers'. But now all are ducking and diving away from tackling 'Y Mewnlifiad Newydd', wonder why? possibly too busy buying pubs at a time when such are becoming an historic relic. As bad a strategy for saving 'Cymraeg' as Llais Gwynedd and it's campaign to keep village schools open. Look I will help you 'pobl Cymraeg' out! It's THE ECONOMY STUPID' plus then DEPOPULATION, so what you going to do about it? I will be telling you what in another post pretty soon ok!

Thus it is against this prevailing back ground of decline in militant political Welsh Nationalism, radical republicanism for most part non existant really apart from posuers and paraders. Not least 'playing safe' is cultural 'language' nationalism fearing it's future grant supply, plus of course keeping eye on the prize - for some great 'Bilingual' jobs for the non - productive petite bourgeouis 'Crachach Newydd' - England's Neo - Colonial Client Tribe in Wales. But of course this rather elitist 'Language Fundamentalism' will not save the Welsh Language, lets face truthful reality it's not done so over and after 40 years and if not having 'lost the plot' certainly has no idea as what to do next, yes!. The really sad thing about failiure to patriotically protest against LIZ II, is this, it does not appear as important as protests on behalf of Gaza and Badgers? Such are more importantant issues, than sovereignty! It was also rather pathetic that there was no 'stepping up to the line' by some patriots who might have known better, that it was time to - 'Seize The Time' - to make a Patriotic stand. What was so desperatly needed was Agit - Prop Action - to impact on Wales and World via all the media interest. All too gut renching sickening fact, is that the English Royalty's Propaganda Machine was not as stupid or too slow, thus Patriotic Apathy assured Patriotic Patheticism! In consequence, see blow results of patriots doing zilch! Thus a Victory for the English Monarchy, our own 'Quisling Establishment' and for those 'Brit - Taffs' who want an Investiture III, never mind Gorden Brown shooting himself in the foot. Welsh Patriots just shot themselves in both feet, on the scale of things, really embarrazing! aka DESPERATE!!!! PLEASE PATRIOTS DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN? Please! Please! Please! or we all mighy as well roll over and sleep for a 1000 years or more?
