Author of above: David Lawrence for a Welsh Republican Ceremony at David Williams memorial, Caerffili 2007, I place here as a tribute and testimony to the Welsh Republican principles of Pedr Lewis. Pedr was an early member of the first Welsh Republican Movement founded by Cliff Bere and others, Pedr was imprisoned for his anti - English Monarchy beliefs in 1953, year of the coronation of Elizabeth II of England. Pedr throughout his Political life remained a Welsh Republican and had no time for Devolution nor the Welsh Assembly, least of all for it's Lord Protector Dafydd Ellis Thomas. Thus foto below of Welsh Republican flag being waved in protest against England's Elizabeth II at the so called ''Senedd'', is apt a tribute to the Welsh Republican patriotic politics of Pedr Lewis.

Pedr was a Penfro man, so foto below of a Welsh Republican Flag flying at Garreg Wasted near Abergwuan is a further tribute to his memory.

Pedr after his early education became a Merchant Seaman for many years, mind full of this I suggest that if and when you may visit Garreg Wasted do place floral and Ivy tributes there, or throw into the sea in memorial tribute to Pedr Lewis.

Given the sad state of Welsh Republicanism, at present virtually non - existant or worse no more than confused blatherings of politically bewildered knee jerk super patriots, usually of the Confused Rali Cilmeri Kind, or worse totally 'Retro Romantic Republicans' of the Cymru Rydd kind, if it still exists? I suggest that an even greater tribute to Pedr's memory would be to establish a Pedr Lewis Welsh Republican Club with purpose of discussing and debating what should needs be true Welsh Republican Philosophy and Principles in theory and practise. If any one out there is keen on such suggestion, I shall be quite happy to post up information on any developments in this direction, here in this blog.

THE GALLANT FEW BEFORE THE GATE OF CAERNARFON CASTLE ON 1 JULY 2009. Their Stand Will Be Remembered, as they are Possibly the Last Patriots Standing?.

Mr BBC WALES BRIT Roy Noble was there 40 years on from 1st July 1969 and the second Investiture to be held in Caernarfon. But of all Welsh Nationalist Patriots who got off the fence, who walked up to the line to protest against another Investiture of another English Prince of Wales...Blachder Cymru, that's who...Our very own ''Barrio Warriors''.

Truly, they are the 'Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol Newydd'........ of future struggle against Colonialism in all it's forms, not least the Cerebral Colonialism that brain washes our people to accept conquest and colonialism, a people ever getting down on their knees tugging their forelocks before the English Crown.

Only by combating Cerebral Colonialism in such ways as the Patriotic Action carried out by Balchder Cymru at the Gate of Caernarfon Castle on the 1st July 2009 will Patriots show the radical leadership that one day our people will begin to follow. But where were the 'Cambrianistas', 'Hen Cyfamodwyr' and all those ''Welsh Republicans'', and indeed where were the ''Good Ole Boys'', yes that bunch who once were a noble 'Brawdwriaeth Cilmeri' but now more the 'Cowards of Cilmeri'. Indeed I would go so far as to say that annually Rallying at Cilmeri in December is for Cowards whilst annually rallying at the Gate of Castell Caernarfon in July is for heroes.

So who will join our 'Barrio Warriors' in Caernarfon on the first day of July next year, and not least in your patriotic 100's, maybe 1000's in 2011, 2014 and 2019. Yes! who will get off the fence and walk up to the line, better to protest as patriots not petition as slaves?

who will take our patriotic banners atop Garn Boduon on 1 August 2009? to overlook Cae Iorwerth and call out to the spirits of Welsh Warriors past.............. 'YMA O HYD!'

I REMEMBER 1st JULY 1969: A Personal Tribute To 'Old Comrades' at Swansea Court House/Guild Hall Location about/on 3:00 pm 1st July 2009.

. I have pioneered this little commemorative ceremony, this year as a personal tribute. Next year others more local than I, may if wished so organise, in particular I suggest Llanelli 'Adfywiadwyr Gwladgarol', seeing as three of their fellow towns folk who had been on trial and have since passed away.

.

This as an annual 1st July Remembrance may also include tributes to other Patriots who have passed away since the ''Sixties'' ( see the Roll call in Denis Coslett's Poetry booklet & add to it by now, no doubt). Particularly Southern, not least Swansea Patriots also one may place tributes to the Abergele Martyrs, if one is not going to that commemoration.

Do note I have suggested that in future there only be a National 1st July Remembrance Commemoration at both Abergele and Caernarfon in 2011 (100th Anniversary 1911), 2014 (45th Anniversary '69) and 2019 (and 50th Anniversary of '69) there after on ? The 50th is Carlo's favoured time to visit Caernarfon, I think all my 'Calls To Action' put him off this year? I am sure the threat of radical patriotic protest was more likly to than Cambria's Pathetic Passive Petitioning.

Though I think there will take place an Investiture III before then, so go over to my Welsh Remembrance blog to see what to do about that. Other than the noted here above, I suggest there be three 'Regional Rallies' regards remembering 1st July 1969, in Caernarfon, Aberytwyth and Swansea. Whilst I see no reason why Patriots cannot make every effort annually to visit and place tributes on graves of the Abergele Martyrs, be it on 1st July or during the month of 'Black July'.

To be honest an huge weight was lifted off my shoulder after completing above ceremonies, I am as busy as a demented Bee with this Patriotic Cause of mine, not least this year but it is coming to an end? I am spending up to 2011 archiving and depositing stuff in various University Libraries plus I have a few pamphlets to produce, and two books myself to do plus two in collaboration, and really much more.

.Did I say I was coming to an end of my 'Gwaith Gwladgarol' in 2011 more likely to be 2019. Whatever, as from 2011, at the very least I will not be very radically a pro - active patriot, more a very passive sort. Even some of my political blogs are coming down, and after 2011 only the Pwca Power and Tan Y Bont Gothic Blogs will be left. So others are going to have to worry about above, and any Anti - Investiture III campaigning etc, etc, etc.

Sorry about not inviting others to above event but I really did not know if and when, or at what time I would carry it out. If any of you do organise anything next year, do let me know as getting to Abertawe will be a lot easier for me than Aberystwyth and Abergele. All in all, I am pretty fed up with Caernarfon, and that includes going there again?

After above, I went fore a walkabout, heck of an hot day, so had a bit of a Pub Crawl in the Pubs along the Mumbles Road and close to the Prison, toasted 'Old Comrades'. Then continued my 'walkabout' and look what I spotted, see below, no apologies for publishing them here, I am not a pacifist and I appreciate what these soldiers died for in a war against Hitler. A number of those on trial in 1969 were in the British Army, and I guess there could be Welsh Soldiers now fighting the war in Afghanistan who just might one day be welcome recruits to another Free Wales Army. Though this time, I mean an official one established by a Free Wales Government to defend an Independent Wales. I would not advocate anything else, would I? Just teasing the 'Taffies', I think!!!

Gwyn Alf Williams landed in Normandy on or about D - Day, I once worked with an ''Old Guy'' who had been at Dunkirk and in the Normandy Landings. He was a plumber when I met him and has hard as nails, he taught be how to do lead flashing's and one hell of a trick with a steaming hot kettle which he took straight off a stove. He told me how it worked, and I believed him but he had real leathery palms as well, so I bottled out on that. When I knew him, he was always going to the funeral of his mates, then one day he went home and found his wife of many years dead behind the Front Door where he had kissed her good bye that morning and she lay there still in her dressing gown when he had gone home from work. That's about as sad as it gets, after her funeral, I never seen the likes of some one so 'give up the ghost' and wither away. He died shortly after?

What's all this then , you say (see foto opposite) ? It's my new tatoo, a Red Star in tribute to the 50th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, not forgetting 20th Anniversary of Tiananman Square in China. A great many bad things have been done under the Red StarI I know but so too, many good things, and if push comes to shove maybe I will put the Red Star symbolic of Inter-national Struggle over and above the Green Ivy leaf of Welsh Nationalist Struggle, we shall see as my political life time of internal debate comes to make a decision, as sooner as later maybe? Shall it really be continue 45 years of Patriotic Struggle, or maybe as much moved for me to call out...

PATRIOT FREEDOM FIGHTER JOHN B. JENKINS LEADER MUDIAD AMDIFFYN CYMRU: Hero of Investiture Day - 1st July 1969.

John Jenkins for a number of years during the ''Sixties'' Adfywiad Gwladgarol as leader of the Welsh Resistance Movement 'Mudiad Amdiffyn Cymru' led a daring and successful secret underground war against English Rule of Wales. On Investiture day in Caernarfon itself, under the noses of 1000's of Soldiers and Police he placed two bombs with intention of disrupting proceedings. Whilst other patriots lacked courage and shied away from any risk, he of a few that day went into action in and around Caernarfon and throughout Wales.

There has been in Wales since 1925 a so called Welsh Nationalist Party, although it refrains from calling itself such today, for the most part this Welsh Nationalist Party has been in tandem with a Cultural Nationalist Movement largelly concerned with Welsh Language rights and demands, that for nost part has been more to advantage of advancing a 'Crachach Newydd', sometines referred to by the Labour Party as the ''Cultural Right''.

However, since 1948 there has been in existance an 'Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement & Struggle' this has taken many forms as of a Welsh Republican identity and theme, or of a Radical Nationalist nature as the Patriotic Front during the ''Sixties''. During the ''Seventies'' the AWNM&S was represented by a number of Welsh Socialist Organisations, and in the ''Eighties'' there arose a Nationalist Movement 'Cymdeithas Cyfamod'.

Post Millenium and there came into existence a Welsh Independance Party but this eventually broke up, since there has been nought but a number of largelly ''Retro'' Republican 'Grouplets' as Cymru Rydd and Balchder Cymru neither ammounted to much, the former eventually demised and the latter is just hanging on. On the whole it looks as if any substantial 'Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement and Struggle' is all but dead and bueried, but is that forever?

If one was ever to arise again, I believe it would require the inspired call to action and then leadership of Patriot John Jenkins, for he alone has all the right qualifications to do so. There can be no doubt of his patriotic courage and conviction, or of his integrity and honesty but as important I believe he is not only a sincere Radical Welsh Nationalist but also is a Welsh 'Political' Nationalist with Socialist Republican principles at core of his beliefs, and not just another ''Welsh Republican'' of the cultural and romantic kind.

In recently published book Freedom Fighters - Wales' forgotton 'War' by John Humphries, a book which is largelly about John Jenkins the author hints that one day another MAC, a MAC III (MAC II being Meibion Glyndwr) may arise to resist English Rule. Humphries hints that this might be again in the ''Old Ways'' of an Armed Struggle, myself would oppose such but I do believe there is a need for a MAC III. However, this needs to be a Politcally motivated and broad based 'MOVEMENT AGAINST COLONIALISM', that is against all forms of colonialism; Socio - Economic and Cerebral Colonialism. To this end we desperatly need John Jenkins to arise and call it into existence such, then if not its up front leader, at least taking pastoral interest and care in its development and advance of such a MAC III.

Such a MAC III that I envisage, being radical and militant but not ''armed'' may possibly in time arise out of the existing best example for such, in J.J's own back yard in the form of the "Right to be Welsh" web site run by the "Peoples Council of North Wales" http://righttobewelsh.com/ I criticise a lot about Welsh Nationalist Politics but, I really feel that this ''Peoples Council'' has got it dead right and are spot on regards the way they are going forward about it all, and I sincerely wish them well. My hope now is that we shall in time witness the setting up of similar ''Peoples Councils'' in other regions of Wales, this really does need to be a priority in these growing hard times.

However, if we are to see a MAC III as I envisage come into existence, then I feel it will require John Jenkins to come out of his semi - retirement with it seems but interest in developing Cambria Band. To, in first instance put pen to paper and write as I know he can write, his thoughts on how we may see a new 'Alternative Welsh Nationalist Movement' arise and go foward in reinvigourated and hopefully successfull Political, Social and Econmic Liberation struggle. John Jenkins, on behalf of many Patriots I appeal to you to arise to the opportunity of occaision to give us all greater Patriotic Purpose of intent and action.
