Cayo & Coslett wanted an FWA as something akin to the Irish Volunteers of 1916, more militant minded Patriots wanted something similar to the IRA. Myself was struck by the idea of an 'Haganha' Israeli Style Self Defence Force as suggested by Patriot Phil Henri. Whatever, a Secret or more open Army, it is all water under the Bridge. We did not get it up and running in the 'Sixties', so I doubt if it could be done now, and why anyway such is not really needed.

Anyway, am pretty sure that when the time comes, the RWF or the Royal Regiment of Wales will possibly 'Come Over'. Not likely, whatever only reason I can foresee for having an Independant Welsh Army is if a Tory Government in England decided to abolish a Socialist Welsh Parliament, in such case I am sure the Trade Unions in Wales could assemble a 'Workers Army'.

Whatever, if you can get hold of a copy of the below one might consider adding it to a Nationalist Political Reading List and maybe consider how your plan for a Welsh Government might differ from that of Derrick Hearne. I read this book some years back and cannot truly remember very much about it's contents (more to do with my growing poor memory than any thing else) but reading the blurb on the back cover it seems somewhat relevant to a Wales that is fast becoming a Closing Down Sale.
First got to know about Rorkes Drift from a school mates book of British Battles, then years later saw the film 'Zulu', in Taunton of all places where I had moved to at age 17 to work in a Weaving Mill. Back then, I thought the film fantastic and as an 'Action Movie' still think it's great, as is the film 'Black Hawk Down', a more contemporary version of a similar Military outing.' Seeing 'Zulu' the first time around made me feel very patriotic, particularly in Somerset, as exiles do. But of course later political awareness give me a different view and an historical truth regards Wales, the Welsh and the British Empire. So the present anniversary of the Zulu War makes me indifferent to the regimental glories of the S.W.B. and more supportive of the Zulus and now mindful of the fact that after the Battle of Rorkes Drift, the wounded Zulus on the ground were beynoted to death with out mercy. Well if you got nothing better to do over the May Day BH why not visit St Asaphand then go on to Rhuddlan for a Rally of Rebels to commemorate the 'Beltane Bash' of 1344,a wonderful piece of Welsh History when for one moment the Cymry forgot they were a conquered people and give the English colonists the fright of their lives.However, I don't think the 'Rhuddlan Rumble' was as wild as some of the ''troubles'' one would get at Neath's September Fair, when the Neath & Swansea Valley lads went head to head with each other and the ''Neath Townies''. Back to the ''Northern Troubles'' of the 1344 - 46, in 1345 took place the 'Welsh St Valentines Day Massacre' at Harlech. Throughout Latin America, its Indigenous Peoples are involved in many struggles, some you may have heard of, as that of the RED PONCHOS of Bolivia and the MAPUCHE of Chile/Argentine - Patagonia. But there are many other struggles as below postcard shows native people confronting the Police. Following that is your usual tourist postcard showing the Mayan Pyramids of Yucatan, do note that next year will be the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolutionstarting in 1910(further details on my Red Remembrancer blog) of which many of you will already know a great deal but how many of you know that the indigenous people of Yucatan fought a War of Independence as from 1810/1821, not least during what became known as the Castes Wars which began in 1847 - 1866. The Mayan Rebels continued their struggle right up to 1936 when they were finally defeated and Yucatan became a Mexican 'Territory'. You will find much fascinating information on Yucatan and it's native peoples on the web via a Google Search, as well of course the struggle of the Mapuche which I feel needs your urgent attention and mobalisation in support of their struggles today, why not organise boycott picket protests outside stores selling Benetton products.See below link at end of this postand also search web for the Mapuche - v - Benetton and the New Colonialism in Patagonia. Forget the Welsh Nationalist politics for a while, it's going no where other than around in circles. Pro-Independence Patriots still fall for the lies ofPLAIDthat they are serious about Independence, but both Adam Price and Bethan Jenkins following on what appeared to be some big talk of action, it seems were only delivering distracting and diversionary 'PRO - INDEPENDENCE SOUNDBITES' aka Bullshite!. The truth of the matter is, and you really are either dumb or daft if you do not realise it, but the Plaid ''Nashies'' are already preparing you for a ditching of that REFERENDUM about more powers for the Assembly. What on earth do you think all those ''SOUNDBITES'' from the Lord Protector DafyddElisimoTomos are about, other than conditioning you to make ready to accept more ''Coalitionist Crap''.

As for that Convention, well it's doing a great job to dumb down on Independence, meanwhile David Davies and the ''True Brit Voice of Wales'' are making hay and stirring it up with their 'Orange Card' - fear of Yr Hen Iaith via drip drip letters from their followers to the Western Mail.Of course the collapse of Western Capitalist Civilization as we know it will not help our cause anyway, especially when the ''Nashies'' do not know how to take advantage of the situation and they like the few Independence bloggers just cannot grasp the fact that Welsh Nationalism to win, really needs to get out on to the street to 'SEIZE THE TIME!'and not continuously camp out in the 'Cymric Closet' of great falterings and failings! . An Independance Campaign and I am doubtful about a Referendum Campaign too, no that just ain't going to happen, the most we will get is the now usual Dewi Day Patriotic Pride Parading in Cardiff. All getting us no where other than provide that City with a colourful tourist attraction. So, I suggest forget all these worries, pay no attention to my calls for some S.O.S - 'SAVE OUR SOVEREIGNTYCampaigning and instead retreat or may be advance into history. Here I must inform you of a great inspirational message which could become our Patriotic 2009 save your 'Nationalist Face rallying cry and call to action, it's this ''WE ARE GOING TO STEP BACK INTO HISTORY!''.

This sums up the motivation of the Mapuche Indians of Chile/Argentine - Patagonia in their struggle to reclaim their land ''from the mountains to the sea'', at moment there is a major land war in latin America from Venuzuela to Bolivia to Chile. If you have nothing better to do politically in Wales, then I urge you to support the struggle of the native peoples over the descendants of 'Conquistidore Colonisers'. I am inspired by the potential of the above call to action to make it my call to you, hope your inspired too! .
