One Of The 18! How Good Can It Get?

Leading Ystrad Tywi Plaid ''Welsh Nationalist'' and non-cilted supporter of 'Tartan Taffery', ROBAT AP STEFFAN in photo opposite looking somewhat grumpy, has been full of ANXT over the 'PLAID PINK PACT'. So much, that he stood his ground and at the ''Sell Out Of Sovereignty'' by PLAID POPPY 'apparachicks' at that ''infamouse'' Pontrhydfendigaid Meeting, he voted against the 'PINK PACT'. There is no truth in the rumour however, that he put up the placard close to the conference which stated rather bitterly ''BETTER DEAD THAN RED - NEVER VOTE PLAID AGAIN'', of course if your dead how can one vote? These are of course sentiments much believed in and held by 60's Alternative Nationalists of the Patriotic Front and FWA, of which I was involved in, whilst Robat flirted with this ''Peripheral Fringe'' but on the whole always remained firmly wedged within Plaid Cymru and the Cultural Nationalist Struggle of CyIG. My politics have changed signifigantly since the 60's, I remain a Nationalist but if ''push comes to shove'', I am more ''RADICAL RED'' than ''PLAID PINK''. Robat is however, a PLAID MAN through and through, and somewhat ironically, boasted once that there was more virtue in helping get Adam Price elected that the peripheral politics of Cilmeri. Foto below is of Robat ''flirting'' with the old, and getting older 60's, plus dieing away ''Radical Right?'', as some consider ''Alternative Nationalists'' to be, some times but not always so.

I know Robat would not go that far, as considering his suicidal death as a solution to the Plaid Poppy Pink Pact, although he at least could have publically vomited all over Adam Price. No! Robat takes the safe route and write a not so ''Mr Angry'' letter to the Western Mail from the Revolutuionary hot spot of Llangadog. When I started to read his letter to Western Mail with the imortal words ''I was one of the 18...'', I thought he had finally flipped and was referring to another time and another life, when he was one of 'the 18' the really ''imortal ones'' who fell on the 11 Rhagfyr 1282. Not an arrow in any back, of those '18' that fell in the slaughter, thought to have been guarding Irfon Bridge whilst Llywelyn III was being assinated at Aberedw (see Cofiwn Archive Blog http://cofiwn.blogspot.com/ ).

Having couragously voted against the 'PINK PACT' Roberts letter to Western Mail, is possibly more a statement affirming his loyalty to PLAID, than expecting us to believe this well known Anti - Socialist/Labour Petite Bourgeoisie Rhondda Boyo and long time WELSH NATIONALIST, in any way really believes that Labour Red Necks are not going to do every thing possible to ''HUG PLAID BUT SMOTHER THEM TO DEATH''. I do not think that Robat is that much of a NAIVE NAT!

If anyone is in doubt has to the truth and reality of the 'PINK PACT', then you should have been watching The Dragon's Eye' the other night. They did a pretty good job exposing that all the talk of ''More Powers for the Assembly'' and a ''Referenda'' is just rubbish and not worth the paper it is written on. Whatever, all this reminds me it's the time of year, just before the Eisteddfod, when all the ''Knee Jerk'' Posturing Patriots turn their minds to the annual Cilmeri Commemoration, which of course ''radical rampant'' but ''non peripheral'' patriot Robat ap Steffan regularly attends and in recent years organises with the equally ''Anxt Ridden'' Anti - Pink Pact Dr John Davies aka 'ROCKS' of Fforwm Hanes Cymru and PLAID (one of The 18? perhaps). There is some time to go before this annual ''Rally of the Right'', which some have called it, in the past, though in recent times it has been a pretty tame afair. Whatever, plenty of time for ''The Plaid 18'' to possibly consider, not silent subservience to the ''PINK PACT'' but instead attending a Cilmeri Rally 2007 organised on theme of a PATRIOTIC REJECTION FRONT against the ''PINK PACT''. Whatever? hopefully the ''Cilmeri Crowd'' does not ignore this issure?????

Talking of Cilmeri reminds me, that the 4 July was the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Garibaldi in 1807, I will do a post on this great hero of Italian Unification and explain why I refer to traditional ''Welsh Republicans'' as ''Garibaldies''. Which raises the question, why are these ''Republicans'' (Photo opposite is of Gareth ap Sion, possibly last surving former ''Godfather'' of traditional Welsh Republicanism. The one man who could have been our ''Welsh Garibaldi'', if only?). In particularly the Cymru Rydd Crowd so quiet about the ''Pink Pact'', and Balchder Cymru, describes itself as a ''Political Think Tank'', so where's the ''Political Thinking'' on the ''Pink Pact?''. The silence, I am afraid says a great deal about these latter day 'Alternate Nationalists', doubt if they have anything worth while to say at all, or maybe they have all gone the same way as Ein Gwlad Journal KAPUT! However, this does not mean that there is no debate on the ''Pink Pact'', there are plenty out there who are blogging away with plenty of talk! talk! talk!. Ok! in most cases , persons making comments are not into ''Alternative Nationalist Activism'' but nevertheless they have something to say. To find the ''Pink Pact Patter'' just enter into google search PLAID LABOUR PACT.

I welcome, short letters though longer articles will be considered for publication, contact me via gethin.apgruffydd@ntlworld.com I had closed three of my blogs down in protest at the lack of guts and gumption of ''Alternative Nationalists'' to protest at the English Queen opening of the Sham Senedd recently with all the attending Gombeen grovelling. However, after, listening to months of Labour ''Red Neck Rumblings'' and ''Plaid Platitudes'', I have decided to open up The Welsh Patriot again as a PATRIOTIC REJECTIONIST FRONT Platform upon which to voice views that are not overwealmed by the great ''LOVE IN'' amongst the pretend parliamentarians in recent months.

My Adfywiad Gwladgarol blog will remain closed as to be honest, my convictions, if not my courage are failing me. Have nagging self doubts that I may have become too ''Acculturalised'' to be of mind to promote Cymric Consciousness Campaign, also am tending to view that certain global issues might be more worthy of campaigning on behalf of? As for the Cilmeri Rally 40 Tribute Blog, after Cilmeri 2006 am of oppinion that Cilmeri Rally has reached it's ''Sell by Date''. Regards my AWNM&S History Archive blog, am keeping that closed, for a number of reasons but serious students of such matters and material will be allowed to subscribe to, for private viewing of this growing library of the Patriotic Fringe of Welsh Politics 1960's to recent times. I may add in conclusion, that I shall only keep The Welsh Patriot Blog open, untill such time as EIN GWLAD Web Site is back on line or a NEW NATIONALIST JOURNAL has been put up on the web.

However, I have serious problems in accepting that, as like Jac I believe it's too dominated by the ethos of ''Cultural Nationalism'' which over the passed 30 years has produced a Welsh Lanuage Industry responsible for spawning Y Crachach Newydd - Our Noveau Riche - England's Client Tribe in Cymru/Wales whom I have no time for and view as the most subvertive of elements undermining development and advance of true radical Welsh Nationalism. So, along with a number of Labour hardliners I cannot stamoche ''Crachdom Cymry'', in response to this my solution is SILURIAN SEPARATISM

Be warned, we do not accept those who are of the Tartan Taff Tribe, plus you must become one with Druidic Pelagianism and have no time for that Christian Fascist self styled ''Dux Brittantica'' Arthur. Further, be prepared to spend a lot of time in caves and woods, and not leased be prepared to throw your prize possessions into lakes to appease the Goddesses. Certainly post election political Wales might see some signifigant changes over the years ahead, maybe Pura Walliae will witness the setting up of a PLAID PURA WALLIAE (aka Tiroedd Cunedda) or we might see the rise of a RURAL PARTY. Meanwhile the ''Pink Pact'' might lead to a WELSH SOCIALIST PARTY, whilst all our ''Cambro Brit Shits'' can run off and join UKIP or form their own CAMBRO - BRIT UNIONIST PARTY? After the ''Pink Pact'' anything is possibe and could make things very interesting politically in Wales/Cymru, but do not hold your breath, just watch PLAID comprimise further and sell out National Sovereignty.
